Abstract
The article explores and highlights recent international conference on the history and heritage of Russian America held in Moscow, April 2016. The vast spectrum of subjects had been discussed at the conference, from the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary points of view. Leading researchers from Russia, USA and Norway took part in the conference. The conference had been a major step forward in understawding the phenomenon of Russian America.
