Abstract

In the article the basic tendencies of the internal and foreign policy of Germany of the beginning of XXI century are presented, characteristics of leading politicians of modern Germany are given. The special attention the author gives social economic processes, public moods, distinctions between East and Western Germans, the problem of immigrants.
