Abstract
The article analyzes the state of research of the USA history in Russia. The best results were achieved in the study of the history of Russian-American relations, the history of American parties and American democracy. Serious deficiencies remain in the study of economic and social history. The author suggests ways to remove the shortcomings and further development of the USA history studies.
